Biography
Dr Katerina Grigoriadou works as an independent research consultant in agriculture sector administating projects related in production problems, new product development and cost reduction. She has more than 20 years’ experience in propagation of elite plant material using novel biotechnological methods (micropropagation, somatic embryogenesis). She was production manager for 15 years in VITRO and until today head of R & D department, maintained external cooperation relationship with ELGO - DIMITRA (formerly NAGREF) and other research institutions and for many years she taught at ATHEITh and MAICh (postgraduate level). She is the author of many scientific publications, book chapters and books and has participated in over 35 research projects (national and European), 4 of them as a scientific coordinator. At 2010 she established MYRTIS, a family enterprise related in organic cultivation and production of elite propagation material of Greek aromatic / medicinal plants, essential oils and relevant processed products. She was the president of the non-profit organization AMAP’s of Greece (2013-2016)
