Biography

Cardiologist Kostis Tsarpalis has been trained in ultrasound and triplex hearts (MSc Hammersmith Hospital, Imperial College, specializing in the latest ultrasound techniques licensed by the Ministry of Health, after examinations) and a Master's and Doctor's Degree (MSc, PhD: Onassis Cardiac Surgery Center and Medical School of the University of Athens) in the field of Preventive Cardiology (dyslipidemias, familial hypercholesterolemia, metabolic syndrome, insulin resistance syndrome, pre-diabetes) and in the analysis and evaluation of the individual cardiovascular risk (use of risk models adapted to the Greek population and especially to that of Attica).
