Lazaros Hatzipanagiotou

Biography

 Lazaros Hatzipanagiotou was born in Athens in 1967.   He lives in Kifissia, Attica, maintaining in the same area a private ophthalmology clinic, which is open to all ages, from April 2005.   He studied medicine at the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens.   During his military service, he was involved in surgical art, mainly employed in surgical clinics of 404 and 401 General Military Hospitals in Larissa and Athens, respectively.   Following the rural service, at the Daeleia Department of Dentistry and the Health Center of Distomo, Viotia, in the framework of a 3-year waiting period for the ophthalmology specialization, he was responsible for the "LEKATSA" Diagnostic Center in Piraeus and coordinator of the medical company "SOS DOCTORS" Athens, while maintaining a private general practice clinic in Agios Stefanos, Attica. During this period he also worked as an Associate Professor of Secondary Education at a Technical Vocational School in the Health and Welfare sector in Ilion, Attica. Later and initially alongside the specialty, he offered his services as a medical adviser to the "GEROLYMATOS" group of companies.  

Research Interest

 He was trained and received the specialty of Ophthalmology at the General Hospital of Athens "PAMMARKARISTOS", gaining extensive experience in the field of surgical treatment of a significant number of ophthalmological diseases, but also in the whole spectrum of the broader pathology of the human visual system.   Surgical is specialized in the treatment of KATARAKTI and GLAKKOMATOS and in LYCER Surgery with LASER (FEMTOSECOND and EXCIMER) for the correction of MYOPIA, HYPERMETROPIA and ASTIGMATISMOU. In the field of PRESVIPIAS it offers solutions using LASER, as well as with SPECIFIC INTERFACES and IMPLANTS.   Among other things, he is involved in PATHOSISIS OXRAS KILIDOS and their modern therapies with ANTI-VEGF AND INTOVOLUTIONAL INTENSIVAL INJECTIONS OF CORTICOSTERIDES.   In the area of ​​the broader aesthetic face, she has been trained and practicing injectable treatments using BOTOX and YALURONIC ACID.   He is a collaborator of ATHENS OPHTHALMOLOGY INSTITUTE "OMMA", ATHENS MEDICAL LASER and Ophthalmology Clinic "THE UNDERGROUND CHRIST" in Athens and General Hospital "ATHENS MEDICAL" in Maroussi.   He is a member, among others, of the ATHENS MEDICAL ASSOCIATION, the HELLENIC OPHTHALMOLOGICAL COMPANY and the HELLENIC and EUROPEAN SOCIETY OF INTERACTIONS AND MEDICAL SURGERY.
