Biography
Aristidis S. Charonis is awarded PhD from University of California San Francisco, and Aristidis S. Charonis holds a Master Degree (MSc) from Medical School of the University of Athens. Aristidis S. Charonis has obtained Bachelor Degree (BSc) from Medical School of the University of Athens. Aristidis S. Charonis has extended her valuable service as a doctor for years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently Aristidis S. Charonis is working at Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens, Greece. Aristidis S. Charonis international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.
Research Interest
Patho-physiology of pancreatic beta cells. Using proteomic approaches, he has identified that ERp46, a protein compnent of the endoplasmic reticulum, is involved in diabetic conditions and he is exploring its role in insulin production.
