Biography
Katia Catherine Karalis is awarded PhD from Athens University Medical School, and Katia Catherine Karalis holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Engineering and Physical Sciences Applied to Medicine from Harvard University. Katia Catherine Karalis has obtained Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Biomedical and Bioelectronic Engineering from Harvard University. Katia Catherine Karalis has extended her valuable service as a doctor for years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Currently Katia Catherine Karalis is working at Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens, Greece. Katia Catherine Karalis international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.
Research Interest
Human diseases together with in vitro approaches to elucidate the role of neuropeptides in the regulation of the inflammatory response, in the development of innate immunity and in the metabolic changes, including food intake and insulin signalling, during inflammation.
