Biography
Sofia Tseleni-Balafouta is awarded PhD from the University of Freiburg, and Sofia Tseleni-Balafouta holds a Master Degree (MSc) in Engineering and Physical Sciences from University of Freiburg. Sofia Tseleni-Balafouta has obtained Bachelor Degree (BSc) in Biomedical and Bioelectronic Engineering from University of Freiburg. Catherine Sofia Tseleni-Balafouta has extended her valuable service as a doctor for years and has been a recipient of many award and grants. Sofia Tseleni-Balafouta is working at Biomedical Research Foundation Academy of Athens, Greece. Sofia Tseleni-Balafouta international experience includes various programs, contributions and participation in different countries for diverse fields of study.
Research Interest
Fine needle aspiration of thyroid in the evaluation of thyroid nodules. Immunohistochemical and molecular studies in tumors of endocrine organs, focused in thyroid carcinoma.
