Biography
Vasileios Korfiatis was born in Athens, Greece in 1986. He received his Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering in 2010 from the National Technical University of Athens (NTUA), and his Master in Business Administration (full-time MBA) in 2014 from the Athens University of Economics and Business (AUEB). He successfully defended his PhD thesis on 20/07/2016. His research interests include the gnostic fields of pattern recognition, machine learning, image processing and computer vision, focusing mainly on medical data and their applications. His technical skills include experience in Python, C/C++ and Matlab.
