Biography
Kostas Bromis graduated from the department of Computer Science of the University of Thessaly in 2009, specializing on Biomedical applications. In 2012 he completed his postgraduate studies on neuro-imaging in King's College London. There he focused on imaging techniques concerning the brain and in particular functional imaging and how this is related to various conditions (schizophrenia, epilepsy, etc). Currently he is a PhD candidate in the School of Electrical Engineering and Computer Engineering in NTUA. His research interests include the improvement of algorithms for the automatic identification of brain regions and the definition of graphs for analyzing the functional connectivity of brain networks, based on fMRI data.
