Biography
I have received my PhD in Biochemistry and Molecular Biology in 2003 from Medical Faculty, University of Ljubljana, Slovenia. In 2003 I am involved in the research at the Department of Biotechnology, University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna, Austria, in the group of Prof. Dr. Florian Rüker, with the main research focus onvariants of human serum albumin with improved ligand binding and alternative scaffolds for molecular recognition. I am proud to be a co inventor of Modular Antibody Technology and cofounder of F-star (Cambridge, UK), which develops novel bispecific antibodies directed at improving the treatment of serious diseases, with a focus on immuno-oncology and inflammatory diseases. Since 2009 I hold a senior Post-Doc position in Christian Doppler Laboratory for Antibody Engineering at BOKU – University of Natural Resources and Life Sciences, Vienna.
Research Interest
bispecific antibodies, antibody engineering, protein stability engineering, protein display tehnologies, library generation and selection
