Biography
Christine Dasanayake is currently working as a PhD Fellow at the Department of Chemical Engineering, Biotechnology and Environmental Technology of the Faculty of Engineering of University of Southern Denmark in Odense, Denmark. She is also employed as a Scientific Officer at the National Science Foundation of Sri Lanka since 2006. She has working experiences in areas of Agricultural Biology, Molecular and Applied Microbiology, International Material Flow Management, Environmental Engineering and Environmental Technologies, especially Life Cycle Assessments. Her current research work comprises of studying the Environmental Life Cycle Implications of Decoupling Protein Production from the use of land – the case of Microbial Single Cell Protein Production from Methane, Oxygen and Ammonia.`
