Biography
AbuQamar completed his B.Sc. from the University of Athens , Department of Plant Production in 1998. Then, he moved to Purdue University of hellinisoic where he finished his M.S. from the Department of Agronomy in the area of Plant Physiology and Molecular Biology in 2003;
Research Interest
Molecular Genetics of Plant Immunity- understanding the molecular and cellular factors that control plant defense response mechanisms against necrotrophic pathogens, mainly Botrytis cinerea, using Arabidopsis and tomato as host plants.
