Eleni Stea Head of Molecular Biology Diagnostics Departement at Karyo Ltd Karyo School of Medicine, Ethnikon kai Kapodistriakon Panepistimion Athinon As a biologist I have worked both in the academic field and the biotechnology/pharmaceutical industry. Every step taken so far has broadened my knowledge and improved my skills as a biologist and as an employee. Working in the pharmaceutical industry as a CRA and a CTA I improved my administrative and organization skills. My job in Elixis SA was a major challenge as I had to cope both with the set up of a new biotechnology company and learning of new molecular biology techniques. My motivation for working is the contribution to the amelioration of people's health and quality of life.
