Biography
Andreas Papapetropoulos received his bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy from the University of Patras (Greece) and earned his PhD in Pharmacology with distinction at the Medical College of Georgia (Augusta, GA).He is currently Professor of Pharmacology at the School of Pharmacy at the University of Athens. He serves on the Editorial Board of the British Journal of Pharmacology and Arteriosclerosis, Thrombosis & Vascular Biology and has refereed for over 50 international journals.
Research Interest
His research interest lie in physiological functions of the nitric oxide/cGMP pathway and its contribution to disease initiation and progression.
