Biography
he received a Dr.Med.Sci. degree (equivalent to Ph.D.) from the same university in 1971. He then began graduate studies at Harvard, and earned a Ph.D. in Biology in 1976. he is Scientific Director of the Biomedical Research Foundation of the Academy of Athens (BRFAA)
Research Interest
His research lies in murine homologs of the breast cancer susceptibility genes Brca1 and Brca2, and the involvement of the Notch signaling pathway in breast tumors.
