Biography
He received his medical degree from the University of Athens Medical School. He is currently an Adjunct Professor at University of Texas and was elected Visiting Professor at the University of Crete in 2011. Dr. Argiris is the founding president of the Hellenic Society of Head and Neck Oncology (HeSHNO). He is also a member of several international oncology organizations, including the Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), SWOG, European Organization for Research and Treatment of Cancer, American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO), and ESMO.
Research Interest
His research interest focus on focuses on the development of targeted and personalized therapies for head and neck cancers, as well as lung cancers.
