Biography
Dr Md Firoz Khan, an environmental chemist, obtained PhD degree in "Comprehensive Study of Chemical Compositions and Source Apportionment of Airborne Particulate Matter". He was awarded the Japanese Government (Monbukagakusho) Scholarship for his PhD during 2006-2010. After his PhD in Yokohama National University, Japan, He worked as a “Postdoctoral Reseacher” at the University of Tokyo during 2010-2011. Currently, he is directly involved in several projects in atmospheric chemistry at the National University of Malaysia. He is interested in atmospheric chemistry, source apportionment, transport and fate of organic as well as inorganic compositions in aerosol and gas phase, and microphysics of atmospheric particles.
