Biography
Dimitris Zeginis is a research assistant at the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research & Technology - Hellas (CERTH-ITI) in Thessaloniki, Greece and at the Information System Lab (ISLAB) at the University of Macedonia, Greece. He graduated of the department of Applied Informatics of the University of Macedonia in Thessaloniki at 2004. At 2007 he took his Master of Science degree (M.Sc.) at the Computer Science Departmnent of the University of Crete at the scientific area of Information Systems. For one year he worked as a research assistant at the Information Systems Laboratory at the Foundation for Research and Technology – Hellas (FORTH) at Crete. His main research interests include Web Science, Open and Linked Data, Semantic Web, Social Media, eGovernment . During the last six years, he has been working as a researcher in several European Union funded research projects (e.g FP7 OpenCube, FP7 Granatum, FP7 Linked2Safety, FP7 eGovPolinet and CIP-PSP Rural Inclusion) at CERTH-ITI and ISLAB.
