Loizos, whose family originates in Ithaca, Greece, brings with him over 27 years experience in academic administration, teaching, digital humanities developing and scholarly research at university level. Primarely, he is a historian. His scholarly interests include digital humanities projects, the study of the Ancient World and the History of Greece and Europe.
