Biography
Professor Moustapha Hassan was born May 10, 1952, and is currently Director of the Preclinical Laboratory at Karolinska Universitetssjukhuset Huddinge, Stockholm, Sweden as well as Professor of Transplantation Research at Karolinska Institutet Huddinge, Stockholm, Sweden. He was made professor in 2005, associate professor in 1994, received his doctorate from Uppsala University in 1978 and Master of Science in Toxicology from Alexandria University, Egypt in 1974. He has extensive experience in teaching nurses, doctors and other medical professionals about cancer medicine and hematology. His research focuses on personalized medicine and pre-transplant medicine, and he is the inventor of liposomal busulfan.
