Spiro J. Latsis

Biography

Mr. Spiro J. Latsis serves as the President of SETE S.A., Geneva. Mr. Latsis serves as the Chairman of Paneuropean Oil and Industrial Holdings S.A., Luxembourg. He has been the Chairman of EFG Group since 1997 and a member of EFG Group's Board of Directors since 1981. He also serves as Chairman of EFG Bank European Financial Group SA. He has been a Director of EFG International AG since September 8, 2005 and EFG Bank AG since 1997. Mr. Latsis serves as Director in other EFG Group companies. He has been a Director of Private Financial Investments Holding Ltd., Jersey since 1991, EFG Eurofinancière d'Investissements SAM, Monaco since 1990, Private Financial Holdings Limited, England since 1989, EFG Private Bank since 1989 and EFG Consolidated Holdings SA, Luxembourg since 1989. He served as a Non Executive Director at Eurobank Ergasias SA, Athens since 1990. He is an Honorary Fellow and a Member of the Court of Governors of the London School of Economics. Mr. Latsis obtained his doctorate in Philosophy in 1974, a Masters degree in Logic and Scientific Method in 1970 and Bachelor degree in Economics in 1968, all from the London School of Economics.
