Biography

She is a Pharmacist for Elphen Pharmaceuticals. She received a Doctoral Degree in Pharmaceutics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens in the year 2006. She served as a Pharmacist for 18 years in Elphen Pharmaceuticals. As a Scientist, she is a recipient of many awards and grants for her valuable contributions and discoveries in major area of research.

Research Interest

Her research interests, as a Scientist lie in Development of new synthetic methods, • Design and synthesis of organic molecules with pharmacological activity [antineoplastic, antiviral, antibacterial and Central Nervous System (CNS)]. • Structural modification of bioactive natural products (e.g. melatonin) and their derivatives aiming at the enhancement of their activity and minimization of undesired side effects. She is committed to highest standards of excellence and it proves through her authorship of many books.
