Biography
Pharmaceutical research has always caught my imagination to the extent that I have dedicated almost eight years of my life in pursuing further education in the various aspects of pharmaceutical technology. I have earned my masters in the field of gene delivery and Ph.D. in lipid based technology, both from Bath University in the UK.Since then, I have undertaken various roles in research and academia which has given me the insight and equipped me with the essential tools to play an effective role independently or as a part of team; initiating ideas, designing research projects and transforming ideas into experimental reality. I have worked in various renowned institutions in the UK, Republic of Ireland and currently in Saudi Arabia which has widened my experience, opened my mind and galvanized my ambition towards disseminating scientific knowledge and furthermore, working closely with the industry developing pharmaceutical products for the demanding and competitive market.
Research Interest
Bioavailability enhancement of poorly water-soluble compounds using Lipid-Based Systems, Microemulsion and Solid Dispersion Technologies.Delivering of biopharmacutical entities such as DNA, peptides and enzymes using Liposoms, Polymer-Based and Micromemulsion Technologies.The use of Polymer Technology to produce solid based systems which potentially can be formulated as tablets.
