Biography
Slava Zhakov is the chief technology officer at Genesys. He is responsible for product development, setting the company’s technical vision, and leading all aspects of technology development and innovation.Slava joined Genesys in 1998 and most recently served as chief technology officer of the Alcatel-Lucent Applications Group, leading product development for Genesys, as well as the enterprise and carrier communications products for Alcatel-Lucent.Prior to Genesys, Slava founded Program-Technique, a software development company. He also taught as a Professor at the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation.Slava holds a master’s degree in computer science and a doctorate degree from the St. Petersburg State University of Aerospace Instrumentation.
