Biography
Prof. Antonio Tiezzi was born in Siena. Italy, in 1956. He got its degree in Biological Sciences at Siena University, Italy, on July 1979 with Maximum of Votation "cum Lauda". During his scientific carrier got fellowships to visit and work at Biozentrum, Basel, Ch and Albert Einstein College of Medicine, New York, USA. He was also visiting Professor at Beijing Agriculture University, Beijing, PRC. Since 1992 he is Associate Professor of Plant Ultrastructures at University of Tuscia, Viterbo, Italy and for long time President of the Tuscia University Centre of Electron Microscopy. Since 1998 to 2006 he was the Italian member in the European Cytoskeleton Forum. He is the Founder of the Free International Association of Researchers on Natural Substances 09 (www.fiarns09.net). He published more then 80 papers on scientific Journals (including Plant Cell) and chapters on Books. He participated to many national and international meetings. Research fields of interest: Cell Biology, Natural Substances, Sexual Plant Reproduction.
