Biography
My main research interest over my career has been nervous system impairment resulting from neurotoxins, trauma and heavy metal dyshomeostasis. Particularly intriguing are metals, like zinc, which are functionally vital, but which require strict regulation. I also have an ongoing fascination with development/morphogenesis, which has led to my involvement in projects involving stem/progenitor cells.
