Biography
I have graduate Wonkwang University College of Dentistry in Korea, and obtained Ph degree studying of oncogenes expression of oral carcinogenesis. I studied molecular oncogenesis at NIDCR, NIH, USA as a visiting research fellow. I am an oral pathologist, mostly working on tooth , and periodontal regeneration. Now I am working as a professor, chairman, at Department of Oral and Maxillofacial Pathology, School of Dentistry, Kyung Hee University in Seoul, Korea. I am currently Director, Tooth and Periodontal Tissue Regeneration (MRC), Korea Ministry of Science and Technology, and chief research board in Dentistry of Korea research foundation. I am an editorial board for Journal of Dentistry, and International Journal of Oral and Maxillofacial Patholology. I have published more than 200 scientific articles.
Research Interest
Oral cancer, Tooth and Periodontal regeneration, Bone, Hepatic and Neural Differentiation, Dental stem cells.
