Biography

Yiannis joined PwC Greece's Deals team in 2005 and since then, he has had wide exposure in several industries. Currently, he is leading the restructuring team (BRS) and he is specialised in (a) debt restructuring (advising either the debtor or the lenders), (b) rehabilitation projects (as specified by articles 99 – 106 of the Greek Bankruptcy Code), (c) out of court workout (OCW), (d) special administration, (e) CRO services, and (f) independent business reviews (IBR). Yiannis believes that at work there are two important drivers of satisfaction: the people you work with and the successful closing of transactions/restructuring. On a personal level, Yiannis enjoys travelling, watching Formula 1 and spending time with his wife Evi, and friends.  Yiannis is a qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW, UK), holds an MSc in Banking and Finance (Cass Business School, City of London) and a BSc in Economics from Athens University of Economics and Business.
