Tsukasa Pugo

Biography

I am working for Takeda Pharmaceutical company , Fujisawa, Japan. I received Ph D for discovery of novel hormones/receptors including urotensin-II/GPR14, urotensin-II related peptide/GPR14, and lysophosphatidylserine/GPR34 in the University of Tokyo, Japan. I worked on the development of agonists/antagonists for GPCR in Takeda. Then, I focused on delivery study of nucleic acids such as siRNAs using liposomes, polymers, and active targeting ligands. My research interests are biology of GPCR, peptide hormone, lipid mediators, material genomics, drug delivery systems and genome editing technologies.
