Biography
André studied Biochemistry/Molecular Biology at the Universities of Jena and Manchester (UK). After completing his PhD project on nucleic acid chemistry at Heidelberg University, he joined our chemistry department in 2015. He is in charge of synthesizing various modified nucleosides and nucleotides, as well as clickable compounds.
