Biography
George Pavlakis is a Consultant Interventional Cardiologist at "K.A.T" General Hospital NHS, Athens, Greece. He obtained the Specialty of Cardiology in 2005 after training in Athens, Greece and then he was trained and worked in the Netherlands in world-famous University Hospitals, for a total duration of two years 2006-2007 in the field of Interventional Cardiology: Namely in the University Hospitals of Utrecht and then in Leiden the Hague, performing PCIs as a primary operator utilising special interventional techniques such as IVUS, FFR , OCT. He actively participated in research protocols there. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
