Biography
Malgorzata Iwona Szynkowska graduated at Faculty of Chemistry at Lodz University of Technology. In 1999 she obtained PhD degree, in 2008 DSc, in 2010 Associate Professor, in 2016 Full Professor. She is employed in the Institute of General and Ecological Chemistry at the same University. She works in the field of applications of modern techniques (ToF-SIMS, SEM-EDS, ICP-OES, ICP-MS, ICP-ToF-MS, LA-ICP-ToF-MS, AAS) in monitoring of poisonous substances in the environment, visualization of surfaces of chosen bioindicators, determination of trace elements (including heavy metals) and major elements in e.g. water, sewage sludge, soil, dental filings, waste by-products, textiles. She has published over 100 papers, including over 80 papers in world-known peer-reviewed scientific journals from JCR list.She is an author or co-author of many invited book chapters. She has been a head or main investigator of almost 20 scientific projects.
Research Interest
Instrumental analysis, trace elements analysis (mainly environmental protection), forensic chemistry, heterogenous catalysis.
