Biography

leftheria Mitka received her Diploma in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the Electrical and Computer Engineering Department (ECE) of Democritus University of Thrace (DUTh) in 2008 with Diploma Thesis of “Mosfet type transistor modeling and simulation of the neutron radiation effect in its operating characteristics via MCNP-N particle code” working in Laboratory of Nuclear Technology. She received her Master of Science degree from the same Engineering Department, working in the field of ‘Safety Standardization's requirements for domestic robots’ in 2011. Since the time of her undergraduate studies she has been working for many projects, in particular, in Public Power Corporation at Thermal Power Plant Operations of Ptolemaida, at Lignite center and at TEI of West Macedonia. In projects of Public Power Corporation she has been technical supervisor. She is PhD candidate in the field of safety standards for mechatronic systems since January 2012. During the time she was working on her MSc workshop, she was working in Public Professional Training Institute in Xanthi and in Komotini on courses: Processing Video, Processing Animation – 3D Studio Max, Practice Application, Use of Local Area Networks, Development of Multimedia Applications with Windows, Data structures and file organization, Printing Technology and reproduction of digital media. She works on her PhD workshop and concurrently she assigns the teaching assistance for undergraduate courses at the Department of Electrical and Computer Engineering of DUTh on the following courses: Electrical Machines, Standards-Quality-Total Quality Management, Computer Aided Electromechanical Projects Planning, Safety at Work, Computer Aided Design and Drafting – CADD.
