Biography
Prof. Sergio Perez has received his PhD form University of Havana in1976. Currently, he is a psychiatrist from Cuba involved in suicide prevention. He was member of the main organization of suicide prevention like Association in Defense against the Incitation to the Suicide (ADIS), International Suicide Research Academy (IASR), Suicide Prevention and Research Group of the World Health Organization, etc... He is founder of Suicidology Section in the World Psychiatry Association and the World Suicidology Net. He is temporal advisor of World Health Organization and Panamerican Health Organization for the suicide prevention in the Region of The Americas.He has authored 22 books and so many research articles.
