He is the Investigator for many national and international research trials on diabetes, hypertension and cardio cerebro vascular diseases. Member of the Italian Society of Diabetology, of the Medical Association of Diabetologists and of the Italian Society of Internal Medicine. Author of 130 international and national publications related to diabetes and cardio-cerebrovascular diseases. Professor in the Post-graduate Course
