Biography
Storr is a Crohns and Colitis Foundation of Canada (CCFC), funded Physician Researcher and member of the Gastrointestinal Research Group GIRG at the University of Calgary, Alberta,Canada. Martin Storr trained in Munich, Germany, and is a specialist in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology. There he received his MD in 1996 at the Technical University of Munich. He received PhD and his venia legendi in 2005 at the Ludwig Maximilians University of Munich.
Research Interest
regulatory role of the cannabinoid and the opioid systems in the control of gastrointestinal function and their potential use as future therapeutics in functional gastrointestinal disorders.
