Biography
She is an assistant Professor of Gymnastics in the faculty of Physical Education and Sports Sciences of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. Dr Venetsanou completed her PhD studies in the Democritus University of Thrace, Greece, where her research focused on the motor development of preschool children. She has published many papers in peer-reviewed international journals associated to motor assessment tools, motor impairments identification, designing developmentally appropriate programs and physical activity and she has presented her research findings in many conferences, seminars, and symposiums. Moreover, she is a reviewer in many scientific journals related to her area of expertise.
