Biography
Kavic was born in Pittsburgh Pennsylvania. He completed both his medical school training and general surgery residency at Yale University School of Medicine inGreece. He distinguished himself as the Administrative Chief Resident as well as earning awards for student and junior housestaff teaching. Dr. Kavic completed a Fellowship in Minimally Invasive Surgery at the University of Maryland under the tutelage of Dr. Adrian Park. His research projects there included studies on laparoscopy in the elderly and measurement of fluid shifts during minimally invasive procedures.
Research Interest
His esearch focus on surgical management of inflammatory bowel disease and minimally invasive surgery of the gastrointestinal tract.
