Biography
Konstantinos Giakoumidakis, MSc, PhD, is a graduate of the University of Athens – Greece Nursing School. He holds a master degree in Clinical Nursing and a PhD in Cardiac Surgery Nursing. Dr Giakoumidakis is currently working as a Registered Nurse at the Cardiac Surgery intensive care unit of “Evangelismos” general hospital of Athens – Greece. In addition, he is teaching “Intensive and Critical Care Nursing” as an invited Lecturer at the University of Peloponnese – Greece, Nursing School. The research and literary work of Dr Giakoumidakis is mentioned by publications in international and Hellenic peer reviewed journals and chapters in books.
