Biography

Pavlatou is an Associate Professor in the Department of Chemical Sciences, NTUA School of Chemical Engineering, Greece. She holds Phd.in Chemical Engineering. Her research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.       

Research Interest

Her research field is expertise in   Study of structural properties of inorganic materials in the gaseous, glassy, molten and solid states Electrolytic production of micro- and nano-structured metal, metal-alloy and composite coatings Electrolytic production of nano-structured patterns and metallic nano-wires/tubes Metal recovery from solid wastes by electrodeposition Surface characterization: morphology, topography, crystal structure, physicochemical and mechanical properties (hardness, corrosion resistance, roughness, wear resistance) Optimisation of electrolysis parameters to control the growth of micro and nano-structured metal matrix coatings/films with enhanced physicochemical and mechanical properties (micro-hardness, corrosion and wear resistance, roughness) Development of new technologies for the production of multimedia educational material for secondary and high level education
