He is the only Orthopaedic Surgeon that is a member of the American Shoulder and Elbow Surgeons with 5O miles. The society is by invitation only and has 347 members. They are an educational body responsible for development of scientific programs, for organization and current knowledge for standardization of nomenclature and for publication of scientific materials
