Biography
Dimitris Vayenas is a Professor in Process & Environmental Engineering department, University of Patras, Greece. He holds Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering, University of Patras, Greece in 1995. He has done B.S (diploma) in Chemical Engineering, University of Patras, Greece in 1991. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
Research Interest
His research field is expertise in Potable water treatment: removal of hydrogen sulphide, ammonia, iron, manganese autotrophic hydrogenotrophic denitrification Treatment of agro-industrial wastewater: olive mill, table olive, dairy. Treatment of industrial wastewater: hexavalent chromium. Application of microalgae for wastewater treatment and biodiesel production. Modeling of biological processes.
