Biography
Michael Kornaros is an Associate Professor in Process & Environmental Engineering department, University of Patras, Greece. He holds Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering from University of Patras, Greece in 1995. He has done B.S (diploma) in Chemical Engineering from University of Patras, Greece in 1989. His research interests reflect in his wide range of publications in various national and international journals.
Research Interest
His research field is expertise in Tertiary Wastewater Treatment, Oxidation and Biodegradation of Xenobiotic and Solid Waste Treatment and Management. Other activities include: (a) development of a Sequencing Batch Reactor (SBR) for the treatment of ship wastewaters, (b) detoxification of olive-mill wastewaters through the use of white-rot fungi, (c) development of a process for treating motor-oil regeneration wastewaters.
