Biography
Dr. Michael Stewart is a Professor in Physical Education. Prior to his current position, he was Associate Dean for Educator Preparation, and Director of the School of Physical Education and Exercise Science at USF. Dr. Stewart received his B.S. from California State Polytechnic University - Pomona and his M.A. and Ph.D. from The Ohio State University. He has held faculty positions at Kansas State University and the University of Nebraska at Omaha and administrative positions at the University of Nebraska at Omaha. He has taught physical education at the pre-school, elementary school, and middle school levels and has coached at the high school and college levels.
