Biography
Ioannis Vovos is a Director in Deals specialising in the provision of Transaction (Due Diligence) and Restructuring Advisory Services to Corporates, Private Equity clients and financial institutions. He is a fully qualified chartered accountant (ICAEW, UK) and has over 10 years of professional experience leading Buy-side and Sell-side Financial Due Diligence, Financial & Operational Restructuring and Vendor Assistance projects, Financial Review and Audit assignments both in the UK and Greece. His expertise spans a wide range of industries including, but not limited to, Consumer & Industrial products (Food & Beverages, Pharmaceuticals), Energy, Utilities & Infrastructure (Gas Retailing, Renewable Energy Sources, Water and Ports), Retail (Supermarkets, Clothes, Luxury goods), Telecommunications, Technology (E-business), Hotels and Commercial Real Estate. Ioannis holds a degree in Shipping from Piraeus University and an MSc in Accounting and Finance from Southampton University; he is also member of the Institute of Chartered Accountants in England and Wales, the Greek Institute of Certified Public Accountants and member of the Hellenic Chamber of Economics.
