Biography

 She has over 10 years experience in the shipping industry in the field of process documentation and improvement, internal audit and compliance advisory projects, performing internal controls design, process improvement recommendations, implementation and testing work. Areti’s experience includes project management for major listed shipping companies (NASDAQ and NYSE) responsible for the SOX attestation of the design of the internal control system reported to the SEC. The projects included supporting the companies’ management in performing scoping and risk assessment exercises, evaluation of internal control system, evaluation of identified deficiencies and recommendations for improvement. Areti has been managing projects for major public and private shipping companies related to processes improvement, efficiency and effectiveness reviews,
