Her research areas are in clinical chemistry and laboratory medicine and her recent work is about biomarkers in cardiovascular diseases, diabetes and nephrology. She is currently an editorial board member of Biochemia Medica, the official journal of the Croatian Society of Medical Biochemistry and Laboratory Medicine.
