Biography
Dr. Yan he received her Ph.D degree in pharmaceutical sciences from the University of Arizona in 2005 under the mentor of Dr. Samuel H. Yalkowsky. She has over ten years of industry working experience in the interface of drug discovery and development with the expertise in the early formulation and druggability assessment. She published ten peer reviewed journal articles and the Handbook of aqueous solubility data in two versions. She has been serving as a Scientific Advisor to the Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences since 2013.

Solubilization techniques including complexation, micellization, cosolvency, pH adjustment, amorphization, amorphous solid dispersion, nanonization, and emulsification; physicochemical property characterization on the candidates for development; druggability assessments.
