Biography

Fabrizio Bruschi was born in Pisa in 1954. Medical Doctor, University of Pisa, Pisa, Italy, score: 110/110 cum laude 1979; Hematology Specialization, University of Pisa, Italy, score: 70/70 cum laude. Certificat d'Etudes Superieures in Immunologie et Pathologie Parasitaires at the Université Pierre et Marie Curie, Paris, France 1982. Professor of Parasitology in the Faculty of Medicine of University of Pisa, Department of Translational Research and New Technologies in Medicine and Surgery.  He is author or co-author of over 130 publications. Editor of the book entitled: Helminth infections and their impact on global public health, published by Springer AG in 2014. Section editor for Antiparasitic resistance of Journal of Global Antimicrobial Resistance. Since 2014 he is collaborative member of the National School of Tropical Medicine at Baylor’s College, Houston, Texas.
