Biography
Konstantinos Giakoumidakis, MSc, PhD, is a graduate of the University of Athens – Greece Nursing School. He holds a master degree in Clinical Nursing and a PhD in Cardiac Surgery Nursing. Dr Giakoumidakis is currently working as a Cardiothoracic Nurse at the Cardiac Surgery intensive care unit of “Evangelismos” general hospital of Athens – Greece. In addition, he is teaching “Intensive and Critical Care Nursing” & “Cardiovascular Nursing” as a Visiting Lecturer at the University of Peloponnese – Greece, Nursing School. The research and literary work of Dr Giakoumidakis is mentioned by publications in international and Hellenic peer reviewed journals and chapters in books. In addition, he has given over 40 oral presentations at international and Hellenic congresses.
