Biography
Dr. George Fountos, was born in 1965. He is an Associate Professor in the Department of Biomedical Engineering, Technological Educational Institute of Athens, since 2007. He received his Diploma in Physics from the University of Ioannina , Greece, in 1987 his M.Sc. in Medical Physics in 1989 from Patras University and his Ph.D. in Medical Physics in 1995 from the University of Ioannina. He received his licence in Radiation Physics in 1996 and he is the Treasurer of the Hellenic Assosiation of Medical Physics (HAMP) from 2004.
